As gaming giant Activision creeps closer and closer to their release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, they have managed to spit in the eye of the adult industry on the way.

And now, due to the obligation I imposed upon myself, we are giving you an interview that might just surprise you in a variety of ways.

PSXE: When did you first start playing video games, and what (or who) really got you started?

Mia: “It was my dad who first got me started; I was supposed to be a boy, and he never got over the fact that I wasn’t. Obviously, I wasn’t born with a controller in my hand but it was pretty damn close; my dad got me into gaming and I was taught how to camp, fish, climb trees, and game. I started with the first Final Fantasys (you know, the little box shaped guys moving from square to square) and ended with my favorite, FFX. Goddamnit, they really screwed up with FFX-2; almost made it into a dress-up game.

Then there was Chrono Cross, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, Gran Turismo, the Halos, [etc.]. I play World of Warcraft now. (when prompted about the Wii): I won’t touch it. I refuse to. I just don’t like it…I mean, gaming is where you sit down and relax and kick back. Moving and playing? I mean, what the fu** is that?”

PSXE: Do you think games appeal more to girls now than ever before? If so, why?

Mia: “Well, the thing is, now it’s become ‘the thing to do,’ I’ve noticed. Yeah, there are definitely games that are more appealing to girls now, but in some ways, it makes it harder for us. Like, you see all these hot girls gaming and stuff, and that’s a new thing.”

PSXE: When people find out what you do and also that you like video games, what’s their typical reaction?

Mia: “I’d say about 75% of the time, people are actually rude. They’re really rude and mean, especially when they’re inside a game and they find out about me. I guess if I ran into someone who did something I wanted to do, or just someone a lot of people knew, I might be a little bitter, too. But when you get over that bitterness, I’d think it would be cool to play with that person. I mean, there are a lot of people who are well-known and play games…millions play, so how can there not be semi-famous people who play?

But for me, I didn’t realize I’d become known and I use my name. But when I became known, it got a lot harder for me to play. Everyone gave me sh** so I had to really work for whatever I got. Guys are di*** online and when you’re better than them…oh God forbid. I got to the last boss [in the last Warcraft expansion] and there was this guy playing and he was like, ‘I can’t believe this bi*** is telling me how to heal,’ and then he left and called me a dirty whore. I was just like, ‘you just had to stand in a different spot.’”

I have always enjoyed Hammerheads Bar in my hometown, I know everyone who comes in, who works there, and they actually offered to have the party there and it just made sense to celebrate it with my friends. As for not having the party at Scores Sports Bar, we just were not able to work out a time that worked for everyone, and I wanted to have a more relaxed environment for everyone where they do not feel pressured to spend lots of money just to get to hang out with us but to actually just hang out at a bar, eat some snack, get some drinks, dance, and just have a good time.

Who are some of the notables who will be attending this Soiree de Misti Dawn?

I can not confirm anyone specifically but Dave Navarro has mentioned he might, as you know I am his weather girl for his radio show Dark Matter every Wednesday on Indie 103.1 in LA (but also avialable on podcast) and Chris Gore from G4 Attack of the Show might come. Wendy Williams will be there, and of course Joanna! Who knows who might make a surprise visit.

You began your web Alt-Porn presence as a Suicide Girl, and shortly thereafter became a member of the Burning Angel crew. As one of the hottest rising Alt-Porn stars, do you think the niche will ever rival mainstream content? Why or why not?

As a rival, personally I do not see that happening. It is like apples and oranges, they just don’t compare and people who prefer alt will go for that and people that go for main stream will go for that. Do I think companies will notice that there is a market for Alt and begin giving alt porn more attention by means of production, I believe and already see that starting now.

If you were to describe the average day being one of, and hanging out with, the Burning Angel girls, what would it consist of?

I LOVE the girls on Burning Angel, I cannot stress that enough. I have made some of my closest friends from there. An average day for us, unless we are shooting, working, or etc is honestly sitting around and relaxing, maybe playing some video games and of course if Bella Vendetta is around we are eating her amazing cooking.

Possibly the biggest signature of Alt-Porn is tattoos, and yours are gorgeous I must say. All of your ink has been done by Adam Potts in Louisville, Kentucky. Are you close with Adam? What’s your favorite thing about his work? Which is your favorite tattoo, and what does it mean to you?

I am very close with Adam, being tattooed by only one person ever, I think you build a comfort. He understands my skin and how it works with color very well. I would say my favorite piece has been my French hot air balloon on my forearm, it’s very bright with vivid purples and pink. Although the only reason I got it was because I loved seeing the Count from the Count of Monte Cristo come down in the hot air balloon.

I admit I have no personal emotion or in depth reason, I just enjoy the colors and the way the lines play with the shape of my arm. I think once you get so many tattoos, the reason “I just really enjoy the way this looks” is enough of a reason.

As Porn Stars go, you are one of the most avid VLOGers out there. How has being so open with your fans affected your career? What are the positives and negatives (if any of either)?

I very much enjoy my career and I consider my fans my friends really. I think professionally it has helped tremendously. I show people that I am a real person and yes, I am in fact a HUGE nerd. I try to answer every email, comment, and thread. I really appreciate everyone that takes time out of their day to see what I am up to, and I think the least I can do is give that back. As far as negatives, I was excommunicated officially from my family’s church last summer. I didn’t take it personally. I don’t practice any religion, but I know my family was very let down by the church taking action considering other adult stars are members of the Mormon Church and that I had not even been active in over 10 years.

Oh. Gosh. Golly. Yes, I was so nervous yet so excited. I find myself in many situations being a fan girl and trying to hold it in. I also loved the outfits we wore, I had shot a scene for her a few days prior and we were talking about playing with wigs and such, so she surprised me with it when I came over to shoot with her. I had to tell myself inside this might be the only time I get to work with her so to enjoy it to the fullest. Not only is she visually stimulating, I very much enjoyed talking to her. She is a very great intelligent woman. I would say I have an even bigger girl crush on her after working with her.

Do you enjoy girl/girl or girl/boy scenes more? Why?

Getting a degree is very important to me. I am actually switching majors to Psychology. I have tinkered with the idea of perhaps going back and becoming a sex therapist. I was most recently re-addicted to Fall Out 3, but now I have Mass Effect 2, I am playing thru with a new character as well as starting a new one to import from Mass Effect 1. I would not say I am Leet just yet, but I’m getting there.

I understand that you had a chance to meet and hang out with the crew from “G4” while CES was happening across the street from AEE this year. Who did you meet? What’s all the info on the Valentine’s Day special you’re appearing in?

I got to meet Blair Herter and Chris Gore and also got to shoot a little segment with Joanna for Attack of the Show. I was so excited to be able to be a part of this. I actually do not have all the details for the airing…just that it will be sometime on the 14th. I got to hang out with Chris Core again the last night and we have stayed in touch pretty well, which is funny since I totally approached him as a fan girl.
